COVID-19 Safety Guidance Update
While the Federal Public Health Emergency has ended, COVID-19 is still around. Queensborough Community College recommends that everyone follow public health guidance and the CDC's suggested practices of staying up to date on vaccinations and staying home when sick.
On May 23, 2023, the City University of New York ended its Emergency COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate and no longer requires the COVID-19 vaccine as a condition of enrollment or employment. However, we continue encouraging all students, faculty, and staff to stay current with their vaccinations. Anyone who tests positive for COVID can contact Health Services at [email protected] for questions related to the latest CDC guidance.
Additionally, CUNY has eliminated using the Cleared4 health verification platform to access campuses and allowed colleges to enforce their own entry policies. Queensborough faculty, staff, and students can access campus using their ID (the TigerCard), either the digital card pre-loaded in the QCC Connect App or the physical ID. The ID Card office is in the Library Building, room LB-02. Their phone number is 718-631-6626.
