 Biography: Ashlie Klepper is a proud born and raised New Yorker and Queens resident. It is no wonder she finds herself so at home at Queensborough where she has been teaching since 2013. She holds a B.A in Speech Communication from SUNY Potsdam, and a M.A in Communication Studies from The College at Brockport. Professor Klepper has taught a wide variety of communication based courses, some of which include Public Speaking, Introduction to Communication and Interpersonal Communication.  Along with teaching full time at Queensborough, she has also taught at Hofstra University, Marymount Manhattan College, Montclair State University, and many other colleges.  Her research interests include interpersonal and instructional communication, intercultural communication, and active learning pedagogy.
 
When she is not in the classroom, Professor Klepper enjoys tap dancing, cooking and the occasional Netflix marathon.
