Summer Pell - Office of Financial Services

Great News!

In summer 2024, Pell Grant eligible students can receive up to 150% of their scheduled Pell award each year. What does this mean for you? If you were a Pell eligible student in fall 2023 and/or spring 2024, you may qualify for a Pell Grant for summer 2024!

Eligibility

To be eligible for a summer Pell Grant, you must:

  • Have completed a 2023-24 or 2024-25 FAFSA

  • Be Pell Grant eligible (based on their EFC, enrollment, & lifetime usage)

  • Meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) for 2024-2025

  • Have lifetime Pell Grant eligibility remaining

Important facts to note:

  • Eligible students may receive Pell awards for every term in the academic year

  • The maximum timeframe that students may receive Federal Pell Grant is the equivalent of twelve full-time semesters

  • Complete Verification and resolve financial aid “to do list” items for missing application information (if required)

  • Your summer award will be calculated based upon the number of credits in which you are enrolled for the summer semester
