Dr. Kenneth Pearl, Associate Professor

Dr. Kenneth Pearl is an Associate Professor of History. He received his B.A. (History) at Hofstra University, where his father taught for many years as a Professor of Philosophy and his Ph.D. in British History at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. Dr. Pearl’s research is currently directed towards British and American reform movements of the nineteenth century. An avid traveler, for over ten years Dr. Pearl has given lectures on European history and culture on voyages for leading cruise lines including Disney, Royal Caribbean, Azamara and Seabourn.

  

Courses Taught

Dr. Pearl teaches HIST 112 (Introduction to Modern Western Civilization); HIST 205 (The First World War, 1914-1918); HIST 222 (Europe and the World Since 1945); and HIST 227 (British History Since 1688).
