1. Students’ speaking abilities will be assessed by evaluating your level of comprehensibility, and fluency, and your use of vocabulary in completing communicative tasks or oral narrations/presentations.
2. Students’ listening comprehension abilities will be assessed by evaluating your understanding of oral messages including advertisements, weather broadcasts, warnings, etc.
3. Students’ reading skills will be assessed by evaluating your understanding of newspapers articles, short stories, excerpts from literary passages, and any other authentic reading material. 
4. Students’ writing skills (including knowledge of grammar) will be assessed by evaluating the level of comprehensibility and lexical/grammatical accuracy of your written samples consisting of descriptions, narrations, or summaries.
