Taking two Honors Classes During the Same Semester in Addition to Conducting Research on Nanochemistry - A true challenge

The first thing that one would probably notice about any honors course is that it is really, really challenging. This was especially the case with General Chemistry II and General Biology II. Both of these courses forced me to work much harder and in a way that I was clearly not used to. They demanded that I go above and beyond to understand the material and then go the extra mile to complete research papers that could potentially be published if done well enough. All of this was enough to give me an action-packed semester that was full of hardships. But when it was all said and done, I believe I came out a much stronger student. I have requested and was granted the opportunity to conduct research under Dr. David Sarno in nanochemistry the findings of which I am scheduled to present at several conferences this coming spring 2016.
