QPAC and the Astoria Symphony Orchestra Partner to Present American Cinema’s Greatest Hits in Lights, Camera, Music!
The Queensborough Performing Arts Center (QPAC), together with the renowned Astoria Symphony Orchestra, will celebrate iconic music composed for the big screen with live stage performances in Lights, Camera, Music! at QPAC on May 28, 2017 at 3:00pm.
Video clips of some of the biggest movies in Hollywood history will be projected overhead. Accompanying the symphony will be Megan Pachecano, soprano and Tommy Wazelle, tenor. The program includes songs from West Side Story, Casablanca, I Dreamed a Dream, Salute to Cinema, Magnificent Seven, I Got Rhythm, Let it Go, the Star Wars Theme and others.
