Another Home Run in a Long List of Hits for Ryan Sandberg

Ryan Sandberg in baseball uniformFormer Queensborough All-American pitcher Ryan Sandberg won the Frontier League Championship on September 14 as a member of the Quebec Capitales.

"We're proud of Ryan and what he's been able to accomplish in his college and professional career since moving on from QCC,” said Jon Hochberg, Director of Athletics. “He came to us under recruited and coming off an injury in high school, and he's turned the opportunity into a highly successful and decorated career at the 4-year level and now the professional ranks. "

Sandberg, who majored in Liberal Arts & Sciences said, “I love baseball and I’m equally driven to do well academically. I was in good hands with Queensborough on both fronts.”
