Transferring with Pathways
Rights:
Pathways makes it easier for students to transfer credits from one CUNY college to another. Students who have met Common Core requirements at one CUNY school have satisfied those requirements at all other CUNY schools.
- Common core courses passed for credit at any CUNY college will transfer for credit at any other CUNY college.
- Common core courses that fulfill a Required Common Core requirement at any CUNY college will transfer for Required Common Core credit at any other CUNY college.
- Common core courses that fulfill a Flexible Common Core requirement at any CUNY college will transfer for Flexible Common Core credit at any other CUNY college.
- For example, if you pass MAT119 at QCC and MAT119 fulfills the Mathematical and Quantitative Reasoning Core at QCC, your Mathematical and Quantitative Reasoning Core requirement will be considered fulfilled if you transfer to Queens College.
Baccalaureate Requirements

- Earned Associate Degree: 6 College Option credits required
- Earned 30 or More Credits: 9 College Option credits required
- Earned Fewer Than 30 Credits: 12 College Option credits required
