- Reviewed and Approved Committee Meeting Minutes February 10th, 2022
- Philip Pecorino – Evaluation of the tenured faculty.
- ADC agreed that the student evaluation of tenured faculty is not within our charges as a committee. Evaluation of the tenured faculty have been turned over to Faculty Executive Committee with an explanatory letter that was addressed to Academic Senate Steering Committee as well ADC committee members.
- Following was stated in the letter. “ADC would like to conduct a Spring 2022 survey regarding evaluations. The survey is open to all faculty and is sent out by CETL, Academic Affairs and ADC. Faculty input plays a role in the revision of the document. To prevent bias with the wording of the questions, the survey goes through multiple revisions and is administered and finalized by the Institutional Research and Assessment Office. (per email sent to Dr. Pecorino on 3/12/22)”
- Rezan will send a copy of an online/hybrid evaluation form and an in person evaluation form to E-Learning committee to review with ADC committee to see if there is any way to combine both forms. If not, then Rezan will state that we do not wish to combine both forms as they require different guidelines. As of right now, we would like to keep Online evaluation forms and in person evaluation forms separate in order to get accurate feedback from the students.
- SOTL series – Registration deadline is February 18, 2022
- Rezan and Melissa are asking for any more presenters to volunteer for the SOTL events. Committee should email them if any faculty or staff are interested in presenting.

What are the key terms and concepts in my areas of interest? Participants will become familiar with advanced researching tips to remain currently apprised in one’s field. Examples from former cohort will be shared. |

What are the research methods in my area of interest? Participants will become familiar with ways of collecting evidence about their teaching and learning inquiry. |
