The Academic Senate Committee on Admissions met on April 9, 2021 Virtually


Committee Members in Attendance:

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 10 a.m. Virtually

  1. Discussion among committee members:

    1. Minutes from the previous meeting was approved unanimously.

    2. Mr. Hossain, new member introduced by the Chairperson and was welcomed by the other committee members

  2. Proposed new name for Committee:

    All members of committee agreed to change name from Dismissed to Readmission Committee. Chairperson committee will be submitting proposed name to Bylaws Committee.

  3. Appeals for Reinstatement

    1. The members of the committee reviewed:
      (26) Degree student records
      (0) Non-degree student records
      (0) NP-AAS/NS-AAS student records
      A total of (26) Student records

Degree

(18) Students approved for re-admission with conditions for the Spring semester.

(07) Students denied re-admissions for the Spring semester.

(01) Student's application deferred based on CCS Committee's decision.

(0) Student's application held for more documentation.

(0) Student's application referred to graduation audit.


Adjournment

The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 a.m.
