Committee Meeting Dates and times
The Committee regularly meets the same week as the Senate, on Wednesdays at 12:10PM.
In Fall of 2021, the Committee met on September 29, October 13, November 10, and December 8, and in Spring of 2022, the Committee met on February 16, March 9, April 13, and May 11.
List of Bylaws charges and notation of “completed” or “not completed” with reasoning for incomplete items
Bylaws charges:
1. Review and evaluate summary reports describing initiatives to assess student learning from academic departments, academies, and academic programs of the college;
Completed. Specifically, a) the committee reviewed year-end assessment reports of all the teaching departments and developed rubric to assess program reviews.
2. Review and evaluate documents relating to assessments of institutional effectiveness from all non-academic units of the college;
Completed. Specifically the commettee reviewed year-end reports of all the non-teaching depatments.
3. Make annual reports of progress in assessment of data collection
Completed. Reported to the chairs of teaching departments and to the provost.
4. Review and evaluate assessment procedures the College undertakes and make recommendations concerning these assessment initiatives to the Academic Senate, in support of principles of shared governance, academic freedom and transparency.
Completed. Mi-Seon Kim and Chukwudi Ikwueze past and present co-chairs spoke at the Academic Senate meeting.

Chukwudi Ikwueze and Mi- Seon Kim spoke at the first Fall Academic senate meeting about the committee's efforts to promote assessment on campus.
