The Academic Senate Committee on Bylaws met on April 19, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., by Zoom

1. Liza Larios (Liaison, Human Resources and Labor Relations)

 

 

 

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 1:00 p.m.

 

Old Business:

• Speedy collaboration and approval of the Committee on Committees proposal by committee members in April were greatly appreciated.
• Minutes of Bylaws Committee Q&A Session on February 8, 2023 were approved.
• Minutes of Bylaws Committee Q&A Session on March 15, 2023 were approved.
• Bylaws Committee Guide Addendum was approved.
• Rondi Davies, new member, will be invited to the committee Q&A session in May.
• Chair and secretary will be elected in the committee Q&A session in May.
• RayLam will end his term in the committee in May.

 

Action Items/ New Business:

1. Post the Bylaws Committee Guide Addendum in the Bylaws Committee website.
2. Invite the new member Rondi Davies to the next session in May.
3. Update the Bylaws Commitee database in MS Teams.
4. Create a Doodle poll for the next session.
