Narrative summary of committee work

Review of FY2020 College Financial Plan took place with the College’s chief officer for Finance and Administration, Vice President William Faulkner, and with Senior Vice President Sherri Newcomb


Assigned Committee work as per Bylaws Charge/Strategic Plan/Middle States Items/ or Actions of the Academic Senate

The Committee received and reviewed several financial documents and reports.

The Committee received and reviewed a report of Prof. Ned Benton, FGL from John Jay College on the current budget situation He is on the UFS Budget Advisory Committee that meets with CUNY officials.

The Committee set times for meeting in 2020-2021

  • Wednesday, August 26, 2020 4 to 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 28, 2020 4 to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, February 24, 2021 4 to 5 p.m.
  • Wednesday, May 12 , 2021 4 to 5 p.m.


New Committee Members – newly elected Chair and Secretary

Steven Dahlke (Steering Committee Designee) added to the committee. A new Student Government Representative will be assigned during the Fall semester.
