Curriculum Committee Minutes for the meeting held on February 4, 2020

The Academic Senate Committee on Curriculum met on February 4, 2020 at 2:10 pm in S-417

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 2:10 PM

1. The minutes of the December 10, 2019 meeting were approved by the committee. 

2. Ian Beckford, Director of Policy Analysis for General Education for CETL presented a proposal for a new general education outcome in the area of Scientific Reasoning. The committee made suggestions for the proposal. 

3. Based on the discussion at the last meeting, the committee considered the following courses:
   
   ARTH-150 Arts Administration
   ARTH-251 Art Curating
   ARTH-252 Art Institutions and the Business of Art
   
   After discussing the proposals, the committee voted and the proposals were approved unanimously by those present. 

4. The committee discussed revisions for the S. in Gallery and Museum Studies program but did not vote. 

5. The committee considered the following courses (remedial prerequisite revisions only):
