The Academic Senate Committee on Curriculum met on April 14, 2020 at 2:00 pm online via Blackboard Collaborate

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 2:00 PM

  1. The minutes of the March 31, 2020 meeting were approved by the committee. 
  1. The committee discussed the new courses CS-102: “Spreadsheet Programming with MS Excel” and CS-103: “Relational Databases with SQL”, previously submitted by the Mathematics and Computer Science Department. The committee will consider these courses again at the next meeting. 
  1. The committee discussed the program revision from the Social Sciences Department for the QCC/QC Dual/Joint Liberal Arts & Sciences in Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) program. After discussing the proposal, the committee voted and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present. 
The meeting was adjourned at 3:00 PM.
