The Academic Senate Committee on Curriculum met on September 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm online via Blackboard Collaborate

Business:
The meeting was called to order at 2:00 PM
- The minutes of the September 15, 2020 meeting were approved by the committee.
- Georgia Mcgill, Chair, and Dr. Franca Ferrari-Bridgers of the Department Speech Communication & Theatre Arts presented submissions from the department.
- The committee considered the new courses SP-215: “Phonetics” and SP-216: “Introduction to Language Science and Linguistics.” After discussing the proposal, the committee voted, and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present.
- The committee considered the A.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences, Communication Concentration program revision. After discussing the proposal, the committee voted, and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present.
- The committee discussed the Business Department’s new online program for the A.S. in Business Administration. After discussing the proposal, the committee voted, and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present.
- The committee discussed the update on CS-102 Spreadsheet Programming with MS Excel & CS-103 Relational Databases with SQL.
