The Academic Senate Committee on CURRICULUM COMMITTEE met on October 29, 2019 at 2:10 pm in S-415

Business:
The meeting was called to order at 2:10 PM
- The minutes of the October 22, 2019 meeting were approved by the committee.
- Sasan Karimi and Dr. David M. Sarno, Chair and Deputy Chair of the Chemistry Department, presented courses for the department.
- The committee considered the following courses:
CH-101 Living in a Chemical World Lecture
CH-102 Living in a Chemical World Laboratory
CH-110 Chemistry and the Environment
CH-111 Chemistry and the Environment Laboratory
CH-120 Fundamentals of Chemistry
CH-121 Fundamentals of Chemistry Laboratory
After discussing the proposals, the committee voted and the proposals were approved unanimously by those present.
- The committee considered the proposed program revision of the Chemistry Department of the A.S. in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Mathematics and Science). After discussing the proposal, the committee voted and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present.
- In an online discussion after the meeting, the committee considered the revised experimental course MA-335: “Statistics with Basic Algebra,” which was discussed at the last meeting. The committee voted and the proposal was approved.
