The Academic Senate Committee on Curriculum met on November 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm online via Blackboard Collaborate

Business:
The meeting was called to order at 2:10 PM
- The minutes of the October 26, 2021 meeting were approved by the committee.
- The committee welcomed Dr. Jeff Jankowski, Chair of the Social Sciences Department, to discuss proposals from the department.
- The committee considered the proposal for the new course PSYC-280: “Positive Psychology.” After discussing the proposal, the committee voted, and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present.
- The committee considered the proposal for the program name change of Liberal Arts and Sciences to Liberal Arts and Sciences (Childhood Education). After discussing the proposal, the committee voted, and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present.
- The committee considered the proposal for the new experimental courses TECH-931, 932: “Cooperative Education in Engineering Technology” from the Engineering Technology Department. After discussing the proposal, the committee voted, and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present.
- Phil Pecorino presented the current activities of the Subcommittee of Committee on Curriculum on Computer Courses and Programs.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:55 PM.
