The Academic Senate Committee on Curriculum met on November 24, 2020 at 2:00 pm online via Blackboard Collaborate
Committee Members in Attendance:

Business:
The meeting was called to order at 2:00 PM
- The minutes of the November 17, 2020 meeting were approved by the committee.
- Dr. Andrea.Salis, Chair of the Department of Physical Education, Health and Dance, presented a new program for the department.
- The committee considered the proposal from the Department of Physical Education, Health and Dance of the new program for the A.S. Degree in Movement Science. After discussing the proposal, the committee voted, and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present.
- Dr. Anne Marie Menendez, Chair of the Nursing Department, presented courses and programs for the department.
- The committee considered the proposed new courses from the Nursing Department:
NU-110 Technical/Clinical Work Credit
NU-111 Fundamental Pathway to Nursing
After discussing the proposals, the committee voted, and the proposals were approved unanimously by those present. - The committee considered the course revision of NU-102: “Safe and Effective Nursing Care Level II” from the Nursing After discussing the proposal, the committee voted, and the proposal was approved unanimously by those present.
- The committee considered the proposed program revisions from the Nursing Department:
Nursing A.A.S.
A.A.S. in Nursing (QCC) leading to the B.S. Nursing (CUNY School of Professional Studies)
A.A.S. in Nursing leading to the B.S. in Nursing (Hunter- Bellevue School of Nursing)
A.A.S. in Nursing (QCC) leading to the B.S. in Nursing (York College)
After discussing the proposals, the committee voted, and the proposals were approved unanimously by those present. - The Protocol for all Academic Matters submitted to the Committee on Curriculum was considered. After discussing the protocol, the committee voted, and the protocol was approved unanimously by those present.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:00 PM.
