Business:

The meeting was called to order at 04:12 PM

Chair:    Aviva Geismar

Secretary:   Vazgen Shekoyan

The minutes from the previous meeting were approved.

The bulk of the meeting was devoted to Phil Pecorino’s presentation of suggested revisions of the Faculty Handbook and entailing discussion. In the presentation the current Faculty Handbook page was recreated on a separate html page with color codes for each link item that either contained a QCC link, a CUNY link or a Faculty Handbook’s own link. Revisions and addition of sections to the page were presented as well.

Requests for Committee Assignments for next year were discussed. Aviva and few other members consider requesting to stay on the committee longer since continuity of members would help the committee with achieving some long-delayed tasks for the Committee.

We also discussed the Faculty Handbook surveys. We agreed that once its implementation is complete committee member(s) would need to volunteer to analyze the survey results.

Meeting adjourned at approximately 5:00 pm.

Respectfully submitted,

Vazgen Shekoyan
Committee on Publications, Secretary
