The Academic Senate Committee on Publications met on Thursday, March 11, 2021, 03:00 PM-3:45 PM, via Zoom


Committee Members in Attendance:

Kerri-Ann M. Smith (Chair), Vazgen Shekoyan (Secretary), Patrick Byers, James Geasor, Kwang Hyun Kim, Christina Manzo


Liaisons in Attendance:

Christina Kofron (representing President’s Liaison VP Stephen DiDio)


Business:

The meeting was called to order at 03:02 PM

The minutes of the previous meeting were approved.

 

The committee discussed the charged of the sub-committee of Webmasters. Kerri-Ann will write new charges for the sub-committee. The charge will include creating video tutorials for department webmasters on how to put things on the departmental websites.

 

Faculty Handbook revisions were discussed. The feedback the committee members wrote in an online document created for that purpose was reviewed. As the next step the chair will organize another meeting with Liza Larios to discuss suggested modifications. Christina, Patrick and Kwang volunteered to attend that meeting (the previous meeting was attended by Kerri-Ann, Christina and Vazgen). After preliminary approval of recommended changes, the document will be sent to Phil Pecorino. 

 

Meeting adjourned at approximately 03:45 pm.
