The cost of a Queensborough Community College education may be more affordable than ever with Governor Andrew M. Cuomo's Excelsior Scholarship program.
The scholarship program will begin with the Fall 2017 semester and be phased in over three years, starting with New Yorkers making up to $100,000 annually in the Fall of 2017, increasing to $110,000 in 2018, and reaching $125,000 in 2019.
Fall 2024 deadline to apply is August 31, 2024. Check the Higher Education Services Corporation web site for the application and deadline.
Apply for admission to Queensborough Community College by visiting the University Application Processing Center or stopping by the Admissions Office (Administration Building, Room 210).
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form to determine eligibility for federal and New York State (NYS) financial aid programs, including the NYS Tuition Assistance Program (TAP).
Enroll as a full-time student for the 2024-25 academic year and plan to complete 30 credits per year. Note: Credits earned during the summer and winter semesters will count toward the 30 credit requirement.
