  1. Welcoming a new CEWD committee member: Lori Conkling (from CEWD department). Thanks to Elaine Friedman (from Speech Communication Department) for her service to the committee, as her term ends at the end of April.
  2. Review Committee Meeting Minutes February 21st, 2023
  3. Elections (CEWD chairperson and secretary)
  4. Promoting non-degree credit options for adult learners (Dean Ellen F. Hartigan).
  5. Discuss how best to advertise CEWD training programs or how to make the works/services of the CEWD department known to the rest of the college/departments.
    • Discuss if we can link some of our CEWD programs to degree programs on QCC website. By linking CEWD programs to degree programs on our website, our degree students may take these training programs as optional pre-requisites or co-requisite programs, or they can consider getting some certifications upon completion of their degrees to boost employability and skills. This way we can also improve advertisement of our CEWD programs not only to current students but also relatives and friends of our students since the CEWD training programs will be distributed all over the website.
