Calculating Fringe Benefit Rates
Fringe benefit rates are calculated for all employees hired on a grant. Find the employment category below for the employee you plan to hire and multiple the fringe rate times the total dollar amount charged to the grant for that employee. Add the amount under “fringe benefits” in the budget.
